About
Me
Hi, I'm Thomas Konings, welcome to my website. I am currently following the MSc in Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and have previously completed the MSc in Finance & Investments from the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM). I also hold a BSc in Economics and Business Economics from the Erasmus School of Economics (ESE).
My goal is to connect my main fields of interest: (1) Finance, (2) Management, (3) Technology & Data. I believe companies will need to take a more holistic approach to these areas in the next century to maintain a competitive advantage. Data-driven decision making in management taking into account financial constraints and creating the right incentives, can go a long way towards achieving goals in an organization of any size.
In my spare time I enjoy biking and hiking. I also listen to music a lot, and enjoy learning new technical skills, from web development to business intelligence.

Music
I listen to music a lot and enjoy discovering new genres, artists, and songs. Anything I discover tends to be neatly organized into a themed playlist or hoarded in my 'Favorites' playlist. My taste can be classified as broad, with songs ranging from the 50s to the present and genres like rock, country, blues, and of course pop. Here are some of the playlists I'm most proud of:
